TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions apply to orders for baked goods including wedding and custom cakes and other items from J's Cakes/Erus Involo, DBA:
-Upon receipt of deposit/retainer based on furnished invoice for custom order, the buyer agrees to color, design(s) and flavor upon placement of the order by deposit/retainer. The buyer also agrees that upon final payment and pickup or delivery of the order, that they accept the product “as is”.
-A non-refundable deposit/retainer in the amount of half of the total price is due the same day that I, J's Cakes/ Erus Involo, DBA, agree to make your cake and to secure your event date.
-A minimum of two weeks’ notice on cake orders. However, please note that you may place your order sooner. Orders placed on or within one week of "need- by" date must be paid in full and incur a 25% rush fee on the full order total.
-Products may come in contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. It is your responsibility to notify your guests and hold I, J's Cakes/Erus Involo, DBA not responsible and harmless to any allergic reaction.
-J's Cakes products may contain inedible materials, such as plastic accessories, floral wire, wooden/plastic dowels, etc. I, J's Cakes/Erus Involo, DBA, am/is not responsible for injury or illness due to the ingestion of said materials.
-Any complaints or concerns must be made within 48 hours of the event.
-Cake flavor and texture are subjective. Refund credits may be requested solely on this, and will be considered providing the product is submitted to me for inspection within 24 hours of the event, and if the quality is determined not to be up to industry standards.
-The balance of your cake/order will be due at the time of pickup/delivery upon receiving your "order ready" text or email. With the exception of wedding cakes, wedding order balances must be paid 1 week prior to event date.
